Agatha Christie’s beloved Belgian detective, Monsieur Hercule Poirot, returns to the Pieter Toerien Main stage in the thrilling murder mystery play, Black Coffee from May 1st to June 1st.
Join local favourite Alan Committie as he steps into the immaculately polished shoes of the greatest detective of the age for the first time, Monsieur Hercule Poirot – a role once made famous by South African great Bill Flynn.
The scene is set – it was a year before the Second World War, where the details and formulae for a new atomic weapon are stolen from the safe of an eminent British physicist. Murder and mayhem follow in quick succession. Enemy spies are in search of the secrets, but there is only one man capable of solving these dastardly crimes.
